360 CORPORATE advises Global Energy Services on the transaction.

MADRID - The Spanish firm Global Energy Services (GES), specialised in the construction, erection and maintenance of wind and solar generation installations, has acquired 100% of the shares of WKA-Service Fehmarn, a German company active in the maintenance and repair of wind turbine blades. With about 80 employees, WKA-Service Fehmarn has an annual service capacity of 600 MW.

Financial support for the acquisition was provided by GES's reference shareholder, the private equity firm 3i, who has been a shareholder since 2006. In this transaction GES has been advised by 360 CORPORATE and Hauck & Aufhäuser Corporate Finance.
